MONTENEGRO via SEESAC email 21 Oct 07 Montenegro receives $1.37 million donation for demilitarisation Sources South East European Times, RTCG Montenegro is disposing of more than 10,000 tonnes of conventional munitions, which will be destroyed or demilitarised, the defence ministry announced on Friday (October 19th). Some 128 tonnes are dangerous toxic waste, including 25 tonnes of napalm. The munitions and toxic materials are stored at nine locations and are highly hazardous for humans and the environment. The Netherlands is donating $1.37 million towards the country's munitions destruction programme.
